Background

In response to the National Energy Administration’s “Administrative Measures for Distributed PV Development and Construction,” new C&I PV must be “observable, measurable, controllable and dispatchable.” The project is a 760kW C&I PV plant (0.4kV low-voltage grid connection) at a Shanxi coal washery, requiring AGC/AVC cluster control equipment, completed and accepted before May 30, 2025.

Scale

30kW inverters ×2, 40kW ×1, 110kW ×6, grid/parallel cabinets ×3, total capacity 760kW.

Solution

Adopted the 5G all-in-one intelligent terminal DAQ-GP-VCMT5G (containing telecontrol, AGC/AVC, longitudinal encryption, 5G routing). Using the Modbus protocol it acquires telemetry, status, control, regulation and pulse data from anti-islanding, multifunction meters and inverters, and forwards them to the utility dispatch system via 104 protocol over 5G, enabling remote switching, generation monitoring and active/reactive power regulation.

Customer Value

AGC active-power regulation error ~1% (completed within 15s), AVC reactive regulation meets response requirements, satisfying the standardized “four-capability” PV requirements and ensuring reliable grid connection.
