5. Interface Description and Installation
Wide voltage power input of 10~30V is acceptable. When wiring the 485 signal lines, ensure that the A and B lines are not reversed, and that the addresses of multiple devices on the bus do not conflict.
| project | Line color | illustrate |
|---|---|---|
| power supply | brown | Positive power supply (10~30V DC) |
| black | Power supply negative | |

Flange mounting is used, and the threaded flange connection firmly fixes the lower tube of the wind speed sensor to the flange. The base is Ø79.8mm, and four Ø4.5mm mounting holes are drilled on the Ø68mm circumference. Bolts are used to firmly fix it to the bracket, keeping the entire instrument at the optimal level and ensuring the accuracy of wind speed data. The flange connection is convenient to use and can withstand greater pressure.
6. Communication Protocol

6.1 Basic Communication Parameters
| Editor code | 8 -bit binary |
|---|---|
| Data bits | 8 -bit |
| Parity bit | none |
| Stop bit | 1 person |
| Error Validation | CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Code) |
| baud rate | 2400 bit/s , 4800 bit/s , 9600 bit/s , 19200 bit /s , 38400 bit /s , 57600 bit/s , or 115200 bit/s . The factory default is 4800 bit/s. |
6.2 Data Frame Format Definition
****
The Mod Bus-RTU communication protocol is adopted , with the following format:
Initial structure ≥ 4 bytes time
Address code = 1 byte
Function code = 1 byte
Data area = N bytes
Error check = 16-bit CRC code
Time to end structure ≥ 4 bytes
Address code: This is the sensor ‘s address, which is unique in the communication
network (factory default is 0x01).
Function code: The function indication of the command issued by the host. This sensor
only uses function code 0x03 (read register data).
Data area: The data area contains the actual communication data. Note that the high
byte of the 16-bit data comes first!
CRC code: a two-byte checksum.
Host query frame structure:
| Address code | function code | Register start address | Register length | check code low byte | high byte of check code |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 byte | 1 byte | 2 bytes | 2 bytes | 1 byte | 1 byte |
Slave response frame structure:
| Address code | function code | Valid byte count | Data Zone 1 | Second Data Area | Nth data area | Verification code |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 byte | 1 byte | 1 byte | 2 bytes | 2 bytes | 2 bytes | 2 bytes |

| Register address | PLC or configuration address | content | operate |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0000 H | 40001 | Instantaneous wind speedUploaded data is 10 times the actual value. | Read-only |

6.4 Examples and Explanations of Communication Protocols
Example: Read the wind speed value at device address 0x01
Query frame:
| Address code | function code | Starting address | Data length | check code low byte | high byte of check code |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0x 01 | 0x0 3 | 0x00 0x00 | 0x00 0x0 1 | 0x 84 | 0x 0A |
Response frame: (For example, the current wind speed is 8.6 m/s)
| Address code | function code | Return the number of valid bytes | Current wind speed value | check code low byte | high byte of check code |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0x 01 | 0x0 3 | 0x0 2 | 0x00 0x56 | 0x 38 | 0x 7A |
Wind speed calculation:
Current wind speed: 0056H (hexadecimal) = 86 => Wind speed = 8.6 m/s
