Application management layer
A service-oriented and B/S architecture. It collects, processes and stores energy-consumption data and provides users with various web-based graphical data applications.
Network communication layer
Through our DAQ communication management unit, various field buses are converted into network access to the LAN. It supports multiple serial and network ports and standard protocols such as MODBUS, DL/T645 and MBus, with secondary development of communication protocols supported.
Field device layer
Field buses connect various metering devices installed on site, such as electricity meters, water meters and flow meters, to acquire and monitor energy-consumption data in real time.

Application case — an industrial park in Hebei
Project overview: the park has more than 40 unattended box-type substations and hundreds each of water meters, gas meters and heat meters; management and O&M face huge challenges.
Owner requirements:
- Ensure electrical safety through the energy management system
- Effectively manage all types of energy use in the park and continuously reduce energy costs
- Improve O&M and management efficiency through a cloud platform

Implementation: all smart devices are connected to the cloud platform over field buses plus a fiber-optic network. Managers can monitor and manage on the move via a browser or App. The platform monitors thousands of metering devices in total, with more than 400,000 data points.
